WHO WE ARE:

Palisociety is a society of unique hotels and residences — Palihouse, Palihotel, Le Petit Pali, ARRIVE by Palisociety, and a growing collection of independently branded properties. Since our first hotel opened in Los Angeles in 2009, we've grown into a nationwide portfolio of neighborhood-centric hotels, restaurants, bars, and event spaces, earning recognition from Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, The New York Times, and more.

We consider our employees our greatest asset: structured training from day one, consistent feedback, and a clear path for growth. We develop our leaders from within, because the strongest hospitality companies are the ones that grow their own.

ABOUT PALIHOTEL PALM SPRINGS:

Palihotel Palm Springs will bring the signature Palisociety point of view to the desert: design-driven, a little irreverent, and unmistakably warm. Our 116-room boutique hotel, perfectly situated in South Palm Canyon adjacent to downtown Palm Springs, blends high-style 1970s inspiration with playful, sun-washed colors, bold textures, and effortless elegance. At the heart of the hotel is a lively pool scene with an all-day café and laid-back poolside DJ vibes that encourage guests to drift seamlessly from slow mornings to energized afternoons.

POSITION PROFILE:

The Director of Sales leads overall sales strategy for Palihotel Palm Springs — driving occupancy, ADR, and total revenue growth while exceeding the hotel's profit objectives. You'll blend hands-on account management with big-picture revenue strategy, setting the tone for a proactive, results-driven sales culture.

THE TASK AT HAND:

  • Develop and execute a direct sales program — appointment-oriented sales calls aligned with the departmental budget and marketing plan.

  • Build a strong working knowledge of revenue management — market intelligence, pricing strategy, and reservations systems.

  • Target new business and maximize key accounts through networking, prospecting, and research.

  • Build strong client relationships through frequent, professional communication and an organized account/trace system.

  • Prepare accurate, timely reports on sales activity, opportunities, and new bookings.

  • Represent Palisociety in the community and industry, traveling for client appointments, site visits, and trade shows as needed.

  • Lead by example — Serve as a visible champion of brand culture within the hotel leadership team, cultivating an open-door environment that develops an engaged, effective team capable of bringing that culture to life.

  • Own the guest and client experience, continuously working to improve satisfaction and outcomes to elevate the hotel's reputation.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience, including prior hotel experience required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear phone communication.

  • Strong organization and professionalism.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Preferred

  • OPERA experience.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

  • Competitive compensation package with medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus 401(k).

  • Paid time off, holiday pay, and sick pay.

  • Career advancement and professional development as we open new hotels and restaurants nationwide.

  • Employee discounts across our entire portfolio (25 hotels and more to come!).
